2.5 miles and new shorts

Well yesterday was a bit of a disaster!  So today I will be posting a few times I think to get everything in I want to say!  So lets see….

Yesterday morning I got up and tried out my new shorts and did 2.5 miles on the treadmill.  I also did a few sprints through the last half and was pretty much a hot sweaty mess by the end even with the fan blowing on me!  So my new shorts ROCK!  Love them!  They are light, DO NOT ride up my bum (one of my huge pet peeves) and really do keep the sweaty crotch down to a minimum! :LOL: 

For breakfast I was wanting something different so I threw together a protein pancake.  I love these and they are so tasty!  It makes 1 big pancake or a few smaller ones if you like.

In the mix is:

  • 1/2 cup of oats

  • 1/2 cup of cottage cheese

  •   3 egg whites

  •   1 tbs of ground flax seed

  •   Cinnamon to taste

I put all this in the blender for a minute till it is mixed thoroughly and then pour the batter into a lightly greased non-stick pan to cook.  I usually top mine with Peanut Butter, 1/2 a banana and then a drizzle of pure maple syrup!  YUMMY…YUM…YUM!

So the rest of the day yesterday I have no pictures to share of my eats because of the fact that I left my camera and laptop at home and I was going to try and take a few pics with my cell phone but that was DEAD!  It was kind of a poopy day. 

The traffic for some reason was horrible on the way home and the one stop light I go through was not working right either so that delayed me even more!  BAHHHH!!  It took me over an hour to get home!!

Ok, my rant is over now. 

But I do have something exciting to share….I will post that later! 😉
