Well it has been way too long since I have done a post. But things have been a bit busy since I had this little guy!
Meet Zaxari Linden Wright born on October 11th, 2011. It has taken me a while to get some sense of normalcy back and feel a little more human again. But now that he is almost 2 months old things are starting to even out a little with more sleep and a bit of a routine developing.
So now I am going to get myself back on track and back to my pre-baby self. It is time to get my butt in gear and get myself moving. I went for my 6 week post partum check up and have been given the green light to resume all my normal activities so exercise is back in my life once again!
I am starting out by joining a little challenge on a site that I belong to called Fit Yummy Mummy. I love the workouts and the community. So I thought that the Holiday Hottie Challenge would be a good starting point for me and a good way to hold myself accountable since the holidays are always a bad time for over indulgences!
This challenge is only for 21 days but it will be a good jump start for me and get me back into the groove. Plus it gives me some short term goals to work towards. Like loosing a few pounds and being mindful of what I am eating.
So without further ado I will post my before pictures….here goes nothing!

Mmmm…those measurements are not all that bad I guess…something to work on.
My goals are to jump start myself back into a routine of exercise and healthy eating once again. I am hoping to maybe loose a few pounds with this challenge and tone up a little. But I really need to loose about 10lbs to get back to my pre-baby weight. That will be a longer goal to tackle.
As you know I love running so I have also incorporated that back into my life as well. I am starting out slow and low miles. On Saturday I managed to do about a 1 mile on my treadmill. No running outside right now as we have quite a bit of snow on the ground..blah!
