I was craving banana’s and something gooey and warm but I wanted it healthy. So I decided on a warm summer day to make this…doesn’t everybody?? It was really good. I also put a BIG dollop of Peanut Butter on the top. Which got all melty from the warmth of the baked oatmeal..YUM!
Baked Banana Nut Oatmeal
Makes one serving
INGREDIENTS
1/2 banana, mashed
1/2 cup dry old fashioned oats
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup of Almond Milk
4 egg whites
Pinch of stevia
1/2 oz walnuts, crushed
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
1. Mash the banana.
2. Mix with all other ingredients. Spray an oven-proof bowl with cooking
spray and pour mixture into it.
3. Bake at 375 degrees for about 35 – 45 minutes until the middle does not jiggle anymore.
