DAY 29

I woke up bright and early this morning…I was excited to go onto Phase 2 of my TSS workouts! Who am I anyway…excited to workout?? Crazy I know but true! Smile


This morning was my first crack at the Trouble Spots Solution Phase 2 – Workout A.

I had reviewed everything and I was ready!


I LOVED this workout! My legs were like jello when I was done…but it was great!

Also I have to say is the Burpees at the end are killer!! (does my face not tell it all!) Can I purse my lips any harder! HA!


I managed to do 15 reps for the first and second sets but by the third set I could only get out 13 in the allotted amount of time. I also completed the finisher of Step Ups and Triple Crush. The set ups are hard to do after you have completed the workout…but I grunted through them!


Pre-workout I had Vega Energizer and Post-workout I had a ice cold PG Workout shake! Yum!


The last two weeks of the challenge I am going to follow the Accelerator Diet. This includes a Green Smoothie every morning. So today I whipped up my Blue-Green Smoothie.


I think I am going to pick up some Kale to change it up a little. I had to take Jaxin to a speech session this morning so my snack was eaten in the car.


My favourite travel snack – 1 cup of fresh blueberries and 1 oz of raw cashews.



I also picked up a Cafe Americano Non-Fat Misto for the road!


No sweetener of course! Straight up!


Salad wraps!


I used the leftover salmon from last night and topped it with a little bruschetta and goat cheese.


I also had a small bowl of cherries for “dessert”. They are so good right now and addicting!


I decided this afternoon I would try a Prograde Fusion. This drink has 24 grams of protein in it and I do find it fills me up. I carry one of these in my purse for in case of emergencies…handy to have.


I have just a few of them….


and I need to start using them up. I like the Fusion I just don’t really love it. It is an acquired taste that is for sure. But I find if I drink it really cold it tastes pretty good. Key is very cold water, LOTS of ice.

Give it a good 20-30 second shaky…shaky. Let the bubbles subside a bit and drink up! You would not want to mix this up in the blender…it could explode on ya since this drink fizzes when mixed.


It is pink when mixed and tastes a little fruity. But you can taste the protein in it…no masking it!


Tonight we bbq’d some chicken breasts. The boys had theirs with some pasta I had mine with a new salad recipe I found for brussels sprouts called Addictive Brussels Sprouts Salad.


This salad was so good! It has shredded brussels spouts, toasted walnuts, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, olive Oil, apple cider vinegar, Dijon Mustard, salt and pepper. Very easy!

I found it on a blog called Shutterbean. She has great recipes for inspiration! Also beautiful photography.

Tomorrow is going to be low-key nothing pressing to get done. The only thing on my must-do list is my Intervals. I think it will be a good day to do some stuff around the house that needs to get done! LIke filing, dusting the blinds, going through Zaxari’s old cloths that do not fit him anymore….etc.
