DAY 7

by Sheri on June 24, 2012

Well week one of the challenge has come to a close.  It was a good one for me.  I ate pretty darn clean during the week and got all my scheduled workouts in.

Today I woke up and had my usual shot of Kefir with my vitamins.

I really like doing this and I will keep it up. Almost need to get more.

Then I had a green smoothie of 2 handfuls of spinach, 1 cup of frozen blueberries, 2 scoops of Prograde Protein and 1 tsp of coconut oil.

Today we planned a special brunch…Belgium waffles.  My Sunday PI.  It is quite a process to make a yeasted waffle so that is why we had them as a breakfast/lunch.  They take 2 hours to make total by time you mix and let the batter sit.  But OMG are they worth the wait!

Already to go!

Pour the batter….

I topped mine with a little maple syrup and some fresh raspberries.  HOLY YUM!  I think I may just make them again next weekend they were that good!

WORKOUT:

Mid-morning I completed my cardio.  I did 45/15 (15 rounds) of Mountain Climbers and 1 leg box jumps with a baby crawling around me!  Talk about a challenging workout!  I love the challenge of Mountain Climbers.

After I showered and got dressed I was finally ready for a snack!

1 ounce of pistachios and about 1-1/2 cup of sweet nectarines.  Yum!

I also had a Tazo Green Ginger tea for a little afternoon pick me up!

SUPPER:

Tonight supper was at my parents place.  We went over for a visit and the Hubby and my Dad put a new cold air intake in my Jeep.  It was the hubby’s idea…he is trying to “PIMP” up my car!

Exciting heh!  It makes my car sound a little throatier too.  Vroooommm…vrooommmm!!

For supper my Dad Barbequed some chicken on the rotisserie.

I had chicken breast meat, toss salad and a little seafood macaroni salad.  So yummy!

The week ahead:

Tomorrow morning early I need to complete workout TSS Phase 1-B.

Then I have a morning eye appointment for Jaxin.  In the afternoon I have to get the gifts I am making for Jaxin’s teachers at Prep done.

I have my meals mapped out for tomorrow so no excuses.

Jaxin’s last day of Prep and school is on Tuesday yayyy!  They we are free to enjoy the summer with some of the pressure off.

Since it is now 9:30 pm I am going to bed!

Had some catching up to do on your posts. Haven’t seen Zaxzari since he’s been crawling (way too long)! And Jaxin seems so happy and excited with his new ventures. Luv his baseball pic. Glad to see you had a nice evening out for your anniversary!
