Dragging

I really need to get myself to bed earlier!  This has been a goal of mine and I have not really been sticking to it.  How hard can it be to get to bed by 10:30pm…hard in my case.  Last night I got to bed at 11pm not bad I guess..I have done worse.

So when I got up this morning to do my workout…I was DRAGGING my butt and doing a lot of self talk about how I did not feel like working out!  But I was up, shook myself off and just did it!

Intervals

This was a good workout…I was sweating pretty good after I was done.  I am so glad I did it.  Plus I did not cop out and do something “easy”.  I stuck to what I had planned…it was tough but I finished strong. 

BREAKFAST

I needed something easy and quick.  Because I was dragging my butt my whole morning I was a little off schedule.  So I had the last  Morning Glory Muffin with Greek yogurt topped with Orange segments and a sprinkle of walnuts and cinnamon.

After breakfast it was time to get the boys ready and get out the door to get Jaxin to school!

While Jaxin was in school I made my weekly stop at the Farmers Market.

I got:

Organic Eggs
Spaghetti Squash
Raspberries
Figs
Fingerling Potatoes
and a little something for lunch

Because I had to run out of the house this morning I did not have even a minute to put together a snack for myself.  Yes, not organized at all today!  So I stopped at Starbucks and got myself a Protein Box.

I ate pretty much everything except for the little pita and the package of Nut Butter…I am saving that for another time….the Nut Butter that is.

LUNCH

I had such a delicious lunch!  When I was at the market I picked up some goodies from one of my favourite places called The Main Dish.  They have tons of healthy choices for lunch or supper.

I got a Fennel Turkey Burger and a little bit of their mashed sweet potato.

I also had a Kombucha Original Tea. 

In the afternoon I let Zaxari have a much needed nap and I puttered around the house and made a few phone calls.

At 3:30pm I got Zaxari up gave him some milk and then packed the boys into the car.  The hubby and I had a dentist appointment.  I got there on time thank goodness because the rush hour traffic in this town is NUTS!  The hubby was done and we switched cars and I went in for my appointment.  He took the boys home…works out pretty good that way.

Call me crazy but I love going to the Dentist.  My teeth feel so lovely and clean after!

Since the traffic rush was still happening after my appointment I headed over the the mall next door and hung out for a bit.  A little me time.

When I got home I had my supper that was waiting in the crock pot.

SUPPER

The night before I prepped my crockpot with a round roast to make Pulled Beef.

Ingredients for the sauce.

I put the roast in the crockpot frozen solid, by morning it was almost thawed out and ready to cook.  I turned the crockpot on low and let it cook all day.

I had my pulled beef with leftover roasted veggies from last night.  The beef was very good, moist and and very tender.  I was starving when I got home and this filled me right up.

WRAP UP

Tomorrow Jaxin has no school due to the Thanksgiving long weekend.  So I will not have to rush him to school in the morning. I will probably get up early and do my strength workout and I do have a few things that I need to get done around the house and some paperwork for the hubby’s business to do.  So that should keep me busy for most of the day.  In the evening the hubby and I have a date night planned.  We are going to the archery range…YES that is what I said…the archery range first and then out to dinner.  I will be sure to take some pictures of this date!
