My goodness the weather today is just the best day of Summer…Ummmm Fall we have had! We broke records today with a high of 33 degrees! So unbelievable! However, the hot weather will start to depart after the weekend and it will get cooler and start feeling more like Fall soon.
For breakfast this morning it was fast and easy.
An egg wrapped in a pita! I know I tend to have these a lot…but darn they are good! Plus it was warm outside today so I was debating between this and a green smoothie. Eating oats in this weather would have made me break a sweat!
Speaking of sweat…I did not get my butt out of bed this morning to do a workout I was just plain tired from the last two busy days that I had. Tomorrow it will be weights and cardio in the AM!
The drive to work this morning was actually quite lovely plus I had my tasty cup of coffee with me for the ride! The weather was just so warm and it felt like a beautiful Summer morning! I had the window rolled down and was enjoying the lovely warm breeze!
As soon as I got to work today it was busy from morning to lunch! Taking two days off I had to read through a bunch of emails and reply and also had a few requests for some stuff.
I did take time to eat my morning snack of Greek yogurt topped with strawberries and a few almonds I had left in my desk.
I also had my first cup of tea of the day.
LUNCH:
Today was of course leftovers of chilli and boy was it delicious!
I swear the flavours taste so much better the next day! I topped it with half of a small avocado…yum!
I also had a square of cornbread
SUPPER:
Tonight for supper since the weather was ultra gorgeous out I thought it befitting to fire up the barbeque!
We had some hamburgers and they were so good! It had been awhile since I have had one.
I had my burger on a sandwich thin with avocado, tomato, lettuce, red onion and a drizzle of mustard. It was pretty darn tasty!
I also had a big bowl of salad
with a healthy drizzle of Ruth’s Hemp Balsamic Dressing.
all squished together…total deliciousness!
and this is currently in the oven to feed my addiction!

Well time to relax a little and get a good nights sleep if I want to wake up and get my workout in!
The evenings just go by way to fast!
