I always feel so good when my house starts to look and feel a little more organized. I tackled the pantry this afternoon and got it done!
I made a list of everything I have in there and will start to build a meal plan around it. I need to eat up some of this stuff! But boy it does look better now that is for sure!
As I was cleaning I also had to manage to keep an eye on J plus keep up with the laundry! I was a bit busy. Around 5pm we decided to have supper since we had not eaten since brunch!
Tonight supper was quick and easy!
We had bison smokies cooked on the bbq. I had mine on a multigrain bun with lots-o-mustard and some sauerkraut. I also cut up some cucumber for faux chips! I needed something crunchy to go with my smokie.
Plus I had the last of the corn on the cob! Still sweet, crisp and delicious!
This meal was perfectly yummy and hit the spot…I was hungry!
After dinner I continued on with my pantry cleaning and also a little gardening. My neighbour came by to take some of one of the plants in my garden that was running amuck! It looks much better now! Now I just need to find the time to finish cleaning up the flower bed a little better.
So far my list is starting to look a little more manageable…maybe?
dust inside buffet- clean silk plants
- Tackle our closet and go through cloths and get rid of anything I am not wearing put in bags for Goodwill
organize pantry and take stock of the extra food.- build meal plan around the extra food
- spot wash walls
- organize home office and clean up filing
ill in important dates in my calendarclean out garage- clean out front closet
- clean windows
- clean light fixtures
Take bottles to bottle depot- spray paint patio furniture
gardening – pull weeds and finish trim.
This is still very much a work in progress for me but I will get it done eventually. We are going away for the long weekend so I may have to work on some of this stuff during the week.
As I sat down to put together this post it was 8pm and I was feeling a little bit snacky so I put together a little bowl of cereal.
In this bowl is Spelt Flakes, huge raspberries and a small spoon of raw almond butter. Mmmmm…this was so good!
This will help me not wake up with a very hungry tummy in the morning. I have a workout planned since I can get back to my normal routine now! Yayyy!
But now I think I am going to take a nice hot bath and call it a night!
