In a flash

It seems like my day went by in a flash.  It is now 9:00pm and I have been up since 5:30am and well I am a little tried!

I slept a little bit better last night but was still a little restless.  Still thinking about too much stuff!  Normally I do not have a problem falling asleep and staying asleep…ask my husband.  But since Jaxin has started school stuff is just running through my head too much.  I need to turn it off.

However, I did get myself up nice and early and did my workout.  Today was a strength day.

TSS Phase III Workout A

I challenged myself again with my strength and increased my weight from 15lbs to 17.5lbs with the Deadlift to rows. I made sure to really be mindful of my core while moving through the circuit of exercises and I can feel it already.  Gotta love those Belly Blasters!

I was finished my workout by 6:30am and took my post workout shake to the shower with me.

This morning my I had another Green Smoothie. This breakfast is quick and easy and does not take much to whip up when I am pressed for time.

Almond Milk
frozen banana
Chocolate Protein Powder
Power Berry Mix
Lots O’ Spinach

always two GOOD handfuls!

Big MUG of goodness!  Makes it easy for me to drink while I get the boys their breakfast and feed Zaxari.

After breakfast it was check a diaper have a potty break (Jaxin) and grab everything and head out the door.  It was darn chilly out this morning!  It was sweater and a scarf for me and hoodies for the boys!  BRRRR!!!  This bit of a cold snap we are getting is supposed to let up by Friday and replaced with warm temps once again!!  I hope it happens!

Today was Jaxin’s 2nd day of Kindergarten. It was only an hour again today. Tomorrow they are there with the whole class for the full 2.5 hours.

While Jaxin was in class for the hour Zaxari and I headed to the grocery store to get a few odds and ends.  But first I had to get something to warm me up!

I stopped at Starbucks and picked up an Americano.  My morning coffee.

My snack on the go this morning was 2 hardboiled eggs and a few grapes and some snap peas.  Did not have time to snap a picture.

Jaxin had another good day at school and was excited to see me when he came out.  He even tried his hardest to tell me about his day on the way home.  Plus he said he wanted his snack! HA!

Today I just had leftovers from last night as my lunch.

Dumped the leftover pork tenderloin and sautéed veggies in a bowl and warmed it up.

Topped with hot sauce for the added kick and warmth!

Speaking of warmth it was on my mind while at the grocery store because I picked up some more green tea.

Chai Green Tea….it smells like Fall in a cup!  So good.

I had a glass with my lunch.

I had a big wedge of my weekend frittata…need to eat It up!

After I took the pictures I…you guessed it…added some hot sauce to the top!  Loving the spicy right now.  A little while after I also had a very small handful of smoked nuts..GOD they are good!

After lunch I did a little reading.  I picked up the September issue of O Magazine.

It is the makeover issue…that caught my eye!  Can’t wait to really get to sit down and read it.

We also had a visit from Jaxin’s used to be Developmental Aid (she worked with Jaxin for 3 years, until last year).  She is such a great person and I am glad that we have remained friends.  Jaxin loves it when she comes to visit.  We had not seen her all summer and she was shocked by how much Jaxin has grown!  I knew he was getting big but she said he really grew!  It was nice to visit with her and catch up.

Easy and quick! SHRIMP, RISOTTO & SAUTEED VEGGIES….took like 20 minutes to make.

It was scrumptious!

I sautéed zucchini, yellow and orange peppers.

2 liters today…but I also was drinking tea like a mad woman because I was so cold.  I actually turned the HEAT on in our house today.  So lets say 3 liters in total so not bad!

Now I have exactly 1 hour before I have to have my butt in bed and I still need to prep breakfast and put together Jaxin’s snack….
