Hello!
I went to a friends place this afternoon for a visit and to pick up some of her old lenses for my camera! It was a steal of a deal…Thanks Nancy! 
Also a flash the 580EX II…which was still in the box and is practically brand new. The lenses are a Canon Telephoto EF 75-300mm and a Canon Macro EF-S 10-22mm and boy are they great! The macro lens is so nice and well it just ROCKS!
I played around a little with them at her place…boy was I excited!
The telephoto is great too!
Plus I can take cute pics of J without him knowing!
I can’t wait for my trip to NYC to see what these lenses can really do! Oooooo…I just can’t wait!
When I got home I put some fall root veggies in the oven to bake off for my lunches this week.
In the pan was a sweet potato, beets and brussel sprouts. I seasoned them with olive oil, salt, pepper and oregano. They smelled so good cooking and came out wonderful!
This is going to be a good salad topper!
Supper tonight was easy and yummy. I took the pilaf I made yesterday and made a kind of jambalaya with it. I added shrimp and some turkey chorizo sausage.
It turned out great and I loved the sausage with it. I love being able to switch up past meals and make it new.
I also had a splash of shiraz with it.
Now I think I will replenish my Oatmeal Raisin bar supply for this week and then get myself to bed to start a new week! I have a workout planned for the morning before work!
