New Year Fitness Goals

Happy New Year!  It was a busy Holiday season for me!  I now finally have some time to come back to posting on the blog on a more regular basis!  Starting with my new Fitness Goals for 2013!  BRING IT!

It will take:

I once again have joined the New Year’s Transformation Challenge with Fit Yummy Mummy.  I have done this program for 5 years now and it is now part of my lifestyle and I love it.  This time I am going to try and take my body to the next level and get photo shoot ready!  I want to be in the best shape of my life at 41!  My deadline is the beginning of April so starting January 7th I have 84 days to reach my goal!

My Goals will be:

1. EAT CLEAN 85% – 90% of the time leading up to about 10 days out then 100% CLEAN!
2. NO ALCOHOL – this is a big one for me! It is only 3 months I can do it!
3. NO REFINED SUGAR – another biggy! I am going to do it!! If it kills me! No stuffing cookie or baked goodies of any kind into my mouth!
4. Consistent workoutsNo missingNo excuses! Will plan out all my workouts on my countdown calendar!
5. Making sure that I am eating 5-6 small meals a day every 2.5 – 3 hours apart.
6. WATER! Will drink water like it is my job!! 4 litres per day!
7. Making sure that I move everyday! When I am not working out go for a walk, ride a bike, etc…
8. Will be using the online menu planner to track my macronutrients and to help me watch portion sizes.

I have already gave my goals a kick start this week.  I stocked up my fridge with healthy food and cleaned out all the Christmas goodies….good bye!



Workout Schedule this week:

Monday: Strength – Done
Tuesday: Interval Cardio – Done
Wednesday: Strength – Done
Thursday: HIIT Cardio
Friday: Strength
Saturday: Cardio
Sunday: REST but will still be moving! 

The challenge officially starts on January 7th and I am more than ready to get the show on the road and test my true dedication and will power to take myself to the next level!
