Rainbow

I had plans to get up and do my cardio early today…but my bed was way more comfortable  So I stayed in it and got some more sleep.  I did not have to be anywhere this morning once Jaxin was in school so I relaxed and got up at 6:45am.

I got the boys up and started breakfast for them.  Mine however was already waiting for me in the fridge.

BREAKFAST

The night before I prepped some Overnight Oats to put in the fridge.

Overnight Oats

1 cup of Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1 tbsp of crushed almonds
1 tbsp of flaxseed meal
1 tsp of cinnamon

Mix it all up in a bowl, snap a lid on it and forget about till the morning.  Easy!

In the morning I added a drizzle of maple syrup, fresh blueberries and a sprinkle of coconut.  Very good.  However next time I think I will do 1/2 cup of greek yogurt and a 1/2 cup of Almond Milk.  The full cup of greek yogurt made it way to thick for my liking.  It was very filling!

After breakfast it was off to school for Jaxin.  I loaded the kids into the Chariot and walked.  It was another lovely morning.  On my way back I took the long way home and enjoyed the lovely morning.

Once home I put Zaxari down for a nap and got my Cardio on.

Intervals

I was also was sporting some very colourful workout wear this morning.  IMG_3730
Colors of the rainbow!  I did not care about matching today…I just threw something on quick as I did not have a ton of time!

My cardio session was a great heart pumping workout!  Man those burpees get me every time.  If I want a good sweaty workout I always included them!

After my workout I had a tall cold green smoothie.

Today I decided to make my Spinach Berry Booster. Delish and refreshing!  I took it with me to the shower and drank it as I was getting myself ready.  Ready for a busy afternoon.

Once I picked Jaxin up from school we went to my Mom’s for lunch.  I took along a Sweet Potato Lentil Chili from the freezer for me to have.  I also had a couple of mini cucumbers chopped up on the side.  I did not take any pictures because I was busy feeding myself and getting the kids fed before I had to take off to PREP for an orientation.  Mom was watching the boys for me while I went to the meeting.

The meeting was to fill in the parents about what to expect for the coming year of Prep3 which Jaxin is now a part of.  He still attends Prep for his speech session as well as go to Kindergarten in a public school.  So PREP is still part of our lives and always will be for a while.  It was a good meeting and plus I got to chat with a few of the other mother’s that I have not seen in awhile.

Once my meeting was done I hopped back in the car and picked the boys up from my Mom’s.  I think she as glad to see me!  They kept her pretty busy all afternoon! HA!

When I got home a did a little Fall decorating!

a pretty new wreath for our front door.

and a brand new mat.  Well I guess this really is not Fall decorating but it was new and pretty so I took a picture of it!  Plus it was only $6.97 at Costco!  Love that place!

SUPPER

It was kind of finally a cooler Fall sort of day here so I thought roast veggies were in order for supper tonight.

Broccoli and red peppers.  I rubbed them with a little olive oil and sprinkled them with a little Garlic Seasoning Salt in the oven at 400 degrees for about 12 minutes…so good!

I had them with grilled pork tenderloin and a small scoop of mushroom wild rice.

WATER INTAKE

Much better today!  I was a fish I tell ya…about 3.5 litres!

WRAP UP

Tomorrow morning I am up and at it early with my strength workout.  Take Jaxin to school and run a few errands and try and make a few phone calls before having to pick him up again.  I tell you 2 1/2 hours goes by FAST!  We have a home visit for Jaxin tomorrow afternoon so that will take up most of the afternoon.  Another busy day people..so I need to get to bed as my time is getting away from me again!
