Sleep in

Today started out good I got to sleep in till 7:30am.  Jaxin did not have school today or tomorrow due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.  I go tonight to meet with Jaxin’s teacher.  I can’t wait I always like to hear how it is going with him at school.

Since I had time this morning I made a yummy breakfast of Pumpkin Pancakes from my new cookbook.

I picked it up at Costco.

It was a very simple recipe and did not take long before I had delicious pancakes for me and the boys!

On my portion I put a drizzle of pure maple syrup and a big dollop of greek yogurt.

Mmmmm…so good!  I also had my morning cup of coffee.

Once Zaxari was down for his morning nap I did my burpees.  I wanted to do them when I had my breakfast and coffee for fuel.  Plus I have way more energy at the beginning of my day rather than the end.

I finished a little slower than my last try at this but still pretty close.  I was a huffy puffy mess once I was done.  Burpees are one tough exercise…sure makes you give it all you got to get it done!  Call me crazy but I love the challenge!  I also did a few yoga poses after I was done to help me cool down.  It felt good to stretch!  I did downward dog, forward bend and child’s pose.

SNACK

After that little workout I needed a snack.  I decided to have a green smoothie.  It has been far too long since I had made one.

Almond Milk
Power Fruit Blend of Berries
Frozen Banana
Prograde Protein Chocolate
Spinach

I forgot how good they are.  I shared with Jaxin…he LOVES smoothies!

After my smoothie I took a quick shower while the boys watched cartoons in my room.  It was ciaos but I managed.  Zaxari gets his little hands into everything!

LUNCH

After I gobbled down my lunch the boys and I headed out to the grocery store to pick up a few things.  I need to start on my Christmas baking.  I like to give some of it away as gifts and I need to put a few packages together for our Christmas get together on Saturday.  I also mailed out my Christmas Cards.

A list of what I will be making and nothing of it is healthy!  It is Christmas after all!

Skor Bar or as I like to call it Christmas Crack!  Seriously this stuff is insanely good! I make it every year.
Caramel Marshmallow Popcorn
Oreo Truffles – AGAIN Amazing and so simple!
Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies – the hubby’s favourite
Puppy Chow – sounds weird but oh so good!

All these recipes are pretty easy and I should be able to get it all done my Saturday night!  Cross my fingers!

SNACK

When we got back from the store it was time for a snack.

I had a snack plate of a Honey crisp apple, 12 almonds, Mini Babybel Light and baby carrots.  I ended up sharing some of the apple with Jaxin.

While I was munching on my snack I started supper.  I was making chili and wanted it to simmer on the stove for a while.

I just kind of threw what I had in my pantry already along with some of our ground beef.  It turned out pretty darn good!

After supper Jaxin and I left to go and have the Parent/Teacher conference with Jaxin’s Kindergarten Teacher.  He is doing great at school and is really starting to show a lot of change since the beginning of the year.  We are also noticing more spontaneous speech happening from him as well.  Jaxin has a GREAT Teacher and Aide we got so lucky and I am thankful everyday that he is going to such a great school!

So that is my DAY 4…..

I-am-done!  Time to take a nice hot bath and crawl into bed!
