Snow…Snow…go away!

Ugggg…more snow and lots of it!  But a least it is only going to last a couple of days and then we are back to the sun and warm weather again.  I think I can handle a few days…maybe!  I REALLY want spring to come!

So much so I went for a run this morning.  I woke up and had my green smoothie and then layered myself up for a chilly run.  It was minus 19 with the wind chill!  A little cold but still felt good to get out.


I did 4KM and then came home did some stretching and took a hot shower.  The rest of my day has been doing the regular Sunday stuff.  Laundry, menu planning and prepping for the week.


I also made a batch of granola.  This was a new recipe that I found in a magazine.  Even the hubs likes it!  Ingredients are: rolled oats, pecans, dried cranberries, raisins, sunflower seeds, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, maple syrup, fresh ginger, vanilla.  It tastes great!

I think it is time for a cup of tea….I am feeling chilly!

Just curious, what temp and how long do you cook the granola?

Hi Esther! I cooked it at 275 degrees for 1 hour stirring every 20 minutes to prevent burning.
