So, glad it is Friday! This morning I woke up and got my weight workout done. It felt really good…love that!
Today I did the following circuit:
~ Dumbbell Swing x 12
~ Decline Push-Up x 10
~ 1 Leg Dead-lift x 12
~ Dumbell Row Underhand x 12
~ Medicine Ball Mountain Climber x 15
~ Reverse Crunch x 15
I did this circuit 3 times through…wheeew! Before I took a shower I made myself a recovery drink! It always quenches my thirst.
Breakfast today was a repeat of what I had on Wednesday. This is what I was hangry for this morning so I made myself 2 pc of Ezekiel toast with almond butter, berry preserves and banana….YUM! Love this combo!

I also revved up the juicer this morning and made myself a quick but tasty green juice!

In the mix was: 2 green apples, 1 kiwi, a chunk of cucumber, a nub of ginger and half of a lemon…I like it tart! After experimenting a little this is my fav combo so far. It is tart but really refreshing!

Work went by fast in the morning and I was stuck in a meeting when my tummy started to grumble! I managed to dash out and grab my Kashi granola bar to hold me over!

My meeting lasted almost till lunch time. But I was not really hungry yet…that Kashi bar must have done the trick! So, I went to the Farmers Market on my lunch break.

I usually go every Friday and get fresh fruits and veggies for the week.

I got:
~ Organic Red & Orange Peppers
~ Broc
~ Cucumbers
~Organic Tomatoes
~ Zucchini
~ Green Beans
~ Organic Sweet Peppers
~ Green Onions
When I got back to the office I was pretty hungry so I dug into my MONSTER salad!

in the bucket is:
~ Romaine Lettuce
~ Orange Pepper
~ Cucumber
~ Grape Tomatoes
~ Black Beans
~ Pumpkins Seeds
~ Sprinkle of ground flax seed
~ small avocado
~ Hemp Balsamic Dressing (which is soooooo good!)
I had that along with some Spelt crackers and a kiwi. Filled me up nicely!
The afternoon seemed to zip by and I was getting a bit hungry and I knew that my supper would be later so I snacked on a Cravers bar.

For supper tonight I had planned a recipe out of my favorite magazine Clean Eating. I choose the Mediterranean Calzone from the current issue. When I got home I set to work. I already had fresh pizza dough in the freezer so I already had that on hand…one of the reasons why I chose this recipe. I also poured myself a glass of red to drink while making dinner.

One assembled I popped them into the oven…then started to wait.

In the meantime my hubby and I had a little blind wine tasting. He purchased two red wines for me to try. A more expensive one and a less expensive one. He always says he can never tell the difference…but I can! But really I just tried to choose the one that I thought tasted the best.

I tasted both and ended up choosing the more expensive Rodney Stong Cabernet Savignon. It was so good! It was rich and fruity and had a smooth finish just what I like. The less expensive Rockwood Creek was not very pleasing at all unfornutely I could taste a difference for sure.

So I drank the Rodney Stong with my dinner…Yum!!

So now I am sitting here doing my post for the day in a drogging (drunk blogging) fashion! HA! Well…..I am going to go now and watch the Breakfast Club one of the biggest movies of my youth! OMG…that dates me a little! Oh well..it is a classic IMO!
